Quick Terminal Guide
Domestic Terminal: Qantas, Virgin Australia, Jetstar (domestic), Rex, Bonza. International Terminal: All international flights including Qantas International, Virgin International, Jetstar International, Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Qatar, Air New Zealand.
Brisbane Airport (BNE) processes over 23 million passengers a year across two separate terminal buildings 2km apart. Arriving at the wrong one costs you time and stress. This guide clears it up once and for all.
International Terminal (T International)
Brisbane's International Terminal is the larger of the two buildings, handling all overseas flights. It's a modern facility with three concourses, A, B, and C. Key airlines and their terminals:
- Qantas International, Terminal T International
- Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Terminal T International
- Air New Zealand, Air China, China Southern, Terminal T International
- Jetstar International, Terminal T International
- Flight Centre connections, codeshares, check boarding pass
Domestic Terminal (T Domestic)
The Domestic Terminal has two piers, Pier A for Qantas domestic and Pier B for Virgin Australia and Jetstar domestic. Rex and Bonza also operate from the Domestic Terminal.
Getting Between Terminals
Terminals are connected by the free AirTrain shuttle, a short bus style transit between Domestic and International. The journey takes around 5 minutes. Allow at least 15 minutes if you need to transfer between terminals. The AirTrain from the city also stops at both terminals.
Private Transfer Pickup Points
When booking with Unison Transfers for Brisbane Airport pickup, specify your terminal and airline. For arrivals, your driver meets you at the designated pickup zone after customs clearance. For Gold Coast and regional Queensland transfers, allow the driver to confirm terminal at booking.
Important: Jetstar Domestic vs International
This is the most common source of terminal confusion. Jetstar operates both domestic and international flights from Brisbane, and they depart from different terminals. A Jetstar flight to Melbourne (domestic) = Domestic Terminal. A Jetstar flight to Bali (international) = International Terminal. Always check your boarding pass.
